ANNIE-ROSE FIDDIAN-GREEN
Annie-Rose is a British born artist who completed a BA Fine Art degree at City and Guilds of London Art School in 2018. Her practice deals largely with the human body and is led by the dynamism of gestural mark-making, with an emphasis on motion and light. She strives to capture a sense of ‘aliveness’ be that from humans, trees or abstract space. Whatever she makes, her work follows her deep connection with the earth and the ‘interconnectedness’ of life upon it.
This past Autumn, Annie-Rose had a successful solo show at the Waterton Gallery in Fulham. 2020 also saw the completion of her commissioned 10m public mural for the newly opened venue The Hawks Nest, Shepherds Bush where she also had a solo exhibition of drawings in August. Annie-Rose recently returned from Brazil where she made a new body of vibrant work at Kaaysa Artist Residency. She is currently based in the Surrey Hills taking varied commissions and planning exciting large scale public pieces for the summer!
