The essence of my Ceramic Sculptures is to capture movement.
Daria has developed her unique practice of dynamic, colourful ceramic sculptures. Inspired by movement in natural forms expressing human emotions, conveying a sensual lively tension, a harmonious balance. Like a kinetic dance!
Her sculptures can range from the intimate vessel to imposing 75cm tall sculptural pieces, hand rolled, deftly built in bands of clay defying gravity, with colourful glazes to resemble fluidity of water and organic form. Every piece shares a confidence and grace.
