We are delighted to announce that this year’s Diana Brooks Prize has been awarded to Alice Boggis Rolfe by Art for Youth’s Founder, Diana Brooks MBE. The Prize of £1,000 has been awarded annually since 1987 to an outstanding exhibiting artist aged 35 or under.
Speaking about her choice, Diana Brooks says, “I’ve been following Alice and her artistic development over the years and have seen her emerge into an incredibly talented artist. I’m amazed at the range of the subject matters she tackles with such confidence, from open landscapes to quiet, intimate interiors and still-lifes. Alice is a very worthy winner of this year’s Prize.”
The annual prize is sponsored by Eversleigh Investment and Property Co Ltd, a privately-owned family business involved in the team creation and management of operational environments and with a deep interest and involvement in the Arts.
