Annabel Fairfax British

Annabel Fairfax SWA grew up in Suffolk and has painted all her life. She worked in the design studio at Colefax and Fowler and then studied photography with Georje Lewisnski before attending The Heatherley School of Fine Art.

 

A range of Annabel’s flower paintings are in print with John Lewis Online and her watercolours of chicken, duck , shell and lobster images are in print with “The Little Picture Gallery.com”. A selection of her oil paintings are available as limited edition prints with Burrow Prints.com . Greetings card publishers Dry Red Press, Medici, Tiger Print for M&S, Woodmansterne and Mira Design have used her images for their cards, notelets and giftwrap. In 2001 her Iris, Tulip and Stargazer Lily watercolours were made into collectable prints for House and Garden magazine . She has also designed for Carolyn Sheffield Giftware, Lady Clare Giftware and Halcyon Days.

 

Annabel has had several solo Exhibitions most recently at ING and The Ebury Galleries and has taken part in many group shows including The Summer Exhibition at The Royal Academy, The Albany Gallery in Cardiff for The SWA and annually for Art For Youth at The Royal College of Art, the Bembridge Sailing Club on the Isle of Wight, The Affordable Art Fair in Battersea, The Society of Women Artists at The Mall Galleries, and The Hampshire Art Fair with Quiddity Fine Art.

 

Annabel was elected a member of the Society of Women Artists in 2011.
She was also featured in the September 2012 edition of Homes and Gardens magazine and has work at The Minster Gallery in Winchester and The Gloss Gallery in Exeter and shows at art fairs with Quiddity Fine Art throughout the year. The Bridgeman Art Library hold images of all Annabel’s artwork.
