Ivo Morrison, born 1990, is a self-taught British artist currently based in London. His work is all patiently hand drawn by pen, using shellac ink on paper, thus achieving the intense depth of colour which makes his work so striking and unusual. His work is full of humour and explores quixotic situations and unlikely combinations, often with a modern take on older stories.
He has exhibited in 16 countries across four continents, most recently including solo shows at the Rebecca Hossack Gallery and SEAM in London, Art Basel Miami Beach, Art on Paper in New York, Ink Asia in Hong Kong, and the International Art Festival of São Paolo, among others.
His work will soon be coming to a town near you.
