Pete paints a broad range of landscape and still life images each of which is designed to provoke a strong sense of place. Having travelled extensively and with a profound love of Africa, many of these images have a reference to this extraordinary continent.
Some paintings are abstract, others more representative, each leaving the viewer to interpret the image in their own mind. He predominantly uses oil and acrylic paints either on canvas or on board. Pete lives in Cheshire.
His paintings are enjoyed in many private collections across the
UK as well as international clients in America, New Zealand,
France, Italy, Spain, Cyprus, South Africa and Kenya. His
paintings have appealed to corporate collections, most recently
hanging in the Close Brothers Asset Management offices.
